Blue Flash Music Trust

Welcome to the Blue Flash Music Trust website.

The Trust, with the help of James here, is developing the Tablet Ocarina Project to help both the sighted and non sighted to work

together on a piece of music.

More details on Tablet Ocarina Project etc page

James fell in love with the sound of the ocarina, when he heard it being played by Robert at a party at least two decades ago, long before the Trust was formed. James is blind, and until then parties upset him, but from then on life changed, and now he has a whole range of musical instruments including a didgeridoo. He particularly loves the large ocarina, which he is playing here because he likes the deeper pitch!

The Blue Flash Music Trust, registered charity 1102732, was formed in 2002, and discovered the wonderful acoustics of the Horsham Town Hall in 2003. In 2004 the Trust approached Julian Lloyd Webber and invited him to be the Trust Patron, and he said he would be “delighted,” as he had played in the hall in 1973.
